If by some miracle I can get a ride to the skyway from Tampa. Which side holds the most Kings, North or South?

I have seen them caught on both sides, but I would have to say that you have a better chance the SSP. Mainly because there is usually more room to move around in the event you hook one. Watch for the water temp to get around 72 degrees.
