The doctor thought I should move along

Got to the SSP at 5AM and set up. This young doctor comes in at 7AM and sets up almost on top of me. I'm a nice guy, so I just thought he might be simply stupid, because I personally know that most doctors know their stuff, "about medicine" that is, but aside from that, most of them have absolutely no common sense.I said nothing to him when he put up this rig with two lines and clothes pins etc.
Later on I hooked a short grouper, and it swam right into his rig. He shouted to one of his friends that I am messing up his rig. When I went to help untangle my line, he told me that I am destroying his rig. I was still nice and said I was sorry. He then said, "There's no need for this to happen, there's plenty of room. I will appreciate it if you do not cross my line again."
That's when I figured the f...g jabronee crossed my line. I told the ass-hole that he met me there and his line drifted with the current in front of me and now he's talking this bullcrap. It might have been good that it did not escalate further, because although I am 73 and he and his friends were 30 ish, I was really pissed and ready to do anything.

It is amazing how "entitled" some people act today. Some of the guys I used to fish with at Hatteras would have simply walked over, pulled out their knives, and cut his line...which is what people who act this way deserve.

I am not looking forward to getting old. I like being 6'4" 240, I am curtious but have no tolerance for a lack of it. My big shoulders take up alot of room if I want them to and a doctor is not going to be saying much to me lol

I agree with you. I always try to be friendly and courteous. But I remember one time someone did that to me and my son. I stood up I am 6'6" 245 and said something the my sonwho is 20 stood up he is 6'7" 280 power lifter and football built like a bodybuilder and said didn't you hear my dad. The guy said oh I am sorry and moved down about 20 yards

Boy I must be a 70 year old runt. I'm only 6'1 & 1/4 and 200 pounds. I had an experience
like that out there one day. I guess he finally got the idea when I stared at him alot. He
finally moved. I had been there for hours and he just moved right in close and wondered
why my lines kept crossing his and mine were already in the water.

Who the hell is this guy? I saw this on another post as well. I absolutely hate people that think that they have more power than anyone else at the skyway. But I'm very vocal when I get out there and will call anyone out for ridiculous behavior

with the florida gun carrying laws I think I would think twice before messing with a stranger. You never know who you are dealing with. Beside I am a lover not a fighter.
