Got out late in the morning , about 8:30 AM . Wind was blowing behind me from the East, and caught the last of the incomming , and the beginning of the outgoing. The water was dirty and lots of grass on both the incomming and outgoing. Obviously , the Bay is still recovering from the recent rainstorms and tornados, but there is quite a bit of floating grass and debris.
I stayed close to the "Y" , and was tempted to go out further towards the baithouse but never made it as I had an afternoon appointment . Plenty of greenbacks running in the shadow of the pier , generally 4-6 inches . Saw a couple of spanish caught ( 18 - 20 inches ) , but none for me on the sabiki , just lots of little sand perch and lizzard heads. Also , caught a 10 inch blu*fish (I still can't stand the little buggers , much less curse myself for further adventures with'em ). Lottsa bait .
I am hoping to get back out later today , but will look for cleaner water even if I have to go to the South pier.
