I got there round 10am, had fiddlers and muscles, they got taken by something dont think it was sheeps tho. Bait was there--herrings and pilchards but had to know how to throw a cast net under your feet tho as they were under the pier.
With those in the bucket, zip, ziltch, nada. Flipper was out in force tho, he could be 50 yards out and he hears your plunk of a sinker comes charging. Even had one bite my net when I had bait in it pulling it up. Only hits were flipper, nobody esle anything either cept a tourist with about a 30" wide ray

Tyler ,
Thanks for the report ! Too bad about Flipper ~ whenever I see one , I figure the fishing is shut down for the next 15 minutes. The fact that Flipper was hanging arround tells me that the only thing worth catching was the tourist ~ and they scream to loud when you put'em on a hook .
I think today is a single tide day (Friday 3/25/11) so I don't expect much.
