Yes , I heard that some were recently caught (?) last week on the skyway, but were small and undersized ~ only a few that were legal sized. , on jigs and shrimp .
As recently as yesterday , a few 18 -20 inchers off "the Pier", using silver spoons , from a reliable source.
Heard about both , but didn't see them myself , and so I have no confirmation.
Its not uncommon to have "hold-overs" ,especially arround waters that are heated by electrical generation plants. Also, until the waters stabilize and continue to warm up , they will remain pretty much 'hit-and-miss' .
