Well if theres not 3 feet of snow in Riverview at 4:30 in the morning I'm going fishing. Been cooped up long enough. If anyone comes out look for white 4door ford F150 with Navy plate. Will be wearing a blue Navy ball cap. riverviewsteve USN, RETIRED

Well there wasn't any snow when I got up, not that I really expected any. As a matter of fact when I got out by the Skyway bridge it was so foggy you couldn't see the bridge. It finally did break up a couple of hours later. Overcast most of the time I was there. Now for the fishing. Lots of bait. On the bottom anyway. I must have caught 50 little pin fish about an inch and a half long. Some a little bigger. There were quite a few greenbacks to. They were caught on the bottom with sabikis. Didn't see any caught with nets. A couple guys tried but no luck. I caught 4 macks 3 were 11 1/2 inch at the fork. They went back. 1 was 12 1/2 inch at the fork. One fairly nice silver trout. I saw quite a few macks caught by others but same problem. Not to many made the mark. Blacktip I don't have a camera phone or whatever it's called but I do have this little thing that's supposed to take pictures I bought just for that purpose. My grandson is coming from Hawaii for spring break. I'm hoping he can teach his -------grandpa how to use it. riverviewsteve
