Thinking about going Sat. afternoon & fishing thru the nite. Water too cold? Any suggestions on what bait to use. Usually does best w/ cut bait this time of yr. w/ silver trout. Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm thinking the same thing, try and fish the last few hours of daylight for spanish and pompano if they are even there. maybe there are sheeps. haven't been in a long long time but kind of know what to expect. look for a kayak on top of the car

If all goes to plan, I should be out Monday. Will be soaking some large and in charge baits. Loaded with menhaden oil.

Went to ssp and nsp friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.....nada, nuthin, zip. no pinfish...no greenbacks. Floated shrimp, weighted shrimp, squid, nothing.
You know it is a slooooooow day fishing when you can't get anything to take a shrimp off.
Weather was nice though! So did manage to get my fishing fix...just not my catching fix!
