My boy does it again, only this one put him in a frenzy, funny seeing him pulled for one end of the boat to the other. We also maxed out on ARS @10 from 13lb down, lotta amberjacks and alamaco jacks. Sorry it took so long to post, this was from 7/23

We got another planned for mid november, don't know yet about the total headcount. Some of my brothers from around the globe are coming down around Thanksgiving. Even have one from Scotland gonna be there, we may take both boats. I'll keep ya up to date. Believe it was a Quantum Eddie, slam full of line to thank goodness, that fish ran the first few mins non stop, reel was screaming. When JJ did get it slowed down it was round d round the boat, fish spotted the boat and was stripping line again. JJ got it close enough we could see it was a huge fish but it ran again, Capn Jessie about crap when he seen it, when it came over the rail he said it was the biggest King he'd ever landed on his boat. Was one hell of a day, trip out was bad, we all flew through the air one point or another, boat leaping from the water to many times to count. First and to be only stop for the day, tossed the anchor over and it got stuck, friggin couldn't pull it up with the boat stuck. The bottom machine was lit up so we stayed, nutton on the bottom but ya reel up 10-15 turns and bam, fish on. Did this all day, lost count of the ARS and AJ's, alamaco jack would swim up when ya dropped dines over and follow them back down when ya dropped. Ride back in was way better, soft swells...................that was till we hit the 10 mile mark and the boat died, out of friggin gas. He got one of his buddies to bring him some gas, 6-8 gal in a 25 gal container, idoit. We dropped bait while we was waiting and caught 30 or more Red Grouper all short. Got the gas, boat cranked and were off, remember I said idiot, we ran out of gas again as we went under gulf blvd., had to gaf the pilings to get to the dock. Great day even with the problems. Seen that Stephen, just don't know how I feel about it, the fishermen in LA are scared of the seafood. I believe it would be wise to have any offshore fish checked. www.floridasportsman.com/casts/100823/index.html
