First off I just want to admit that lately I haven't been a very good forum member or skyway pier fisherman. I haven't been to the piers in a while and my last visit there was to catch bait for a offshore trip I also haven't been posting on here much even though i'm always online and when I do post on here its usually a report from the east coast. This time is no different, I caught my first mutton snapper of the year. 19" I also caught a bunch of jacks and gave them away. Only pic I got enjoy! Hope no one minds my reports

Nice catch basher! Think you can give me some pointers on sebastian inlet? I have only fished there a few times. Do you get the snapper out on the rocks in the the channel or by the pillings? Thanks

most like to fish straight down btw. the pilings for the grovers but mine was caught casting out. they also hold pretty think around the rocks but as you know its difficult to fish this inlet along the rocks and pilings with such a swift current. one guy got a really good hit and short fight fishing straight down and he didn't follow the fish and it ended breaking off as it ran along the side of the inlet.
