Headed out to NSP today around 1am and fished until noon. It was a four day current switch which was nice considering it was only a two tide day last trip. Bait as usual was plentiful and could either be netted or caught using a sabiki rig. Mangroves were being caught during the night incoming tide. As the sun came up there were plenty of Macks to be caught. I was targeting Grouper and landed two shorties and had plenty more hits during outgoing tide. Jewfish were plentiful as well, but not worth losing led for a fish I cannot even take out of the water. Only other thing to report was seeing a little cobia in the light at night and some really nice looking pompano as well. The pompano were very nice size, and I did not have a chance to throw anything at them, but maybe next time
