I'm heading out friday night leaving saturday night. I guess I'll see some of you guys out there...Hoping to catch some stuff with the new moon and hope the crabbers decide to stay home...

no crab nets that night...had very little luck with grouper, heard others catching only shorts... gave up grouper and went for macks around 3 saturday and caught four. No snapper at night either...need to try something else again before the summer's over...

Good job on the macks, and maybe next time on the grouper... I still think the snapper are about a month behnind with the extra long and cold winter.

I definately haven't been catching as many snapper as I have in the past. Last year I limited out easily. This time, it's been hard getting any of decent size.

since they congregate in the groves when they are young I bet the winter did a number on them
