Since most of ya'll are from Florida, I thought I'd shed light on a topic I used to do until I recently moved here: Noodle for Catfish. I am from southern ohio and would drive to west virginia by all the locks and dam where the the catfish hide. Big monsters over there, 20-30 pounds hiding below the dams waiting for baitfish. I would repel down the side of the new cumberland dam and wade out about 100 yds from the water flowing in. Get my hands messy with rotten bluegill and then stick them in catfish holes and wait for a bite. I dont have any pics, but if anyone cares to try this technique or any catfishing tips, feel free to let me know!

I have seen shows with people doing that. Always wondered what else might hangout in that hole that might not be good thing. My hat's off to you, wouldn't try that around the reefs in Florida though, those Moray's are mean critters.

I've never had a problem with turtles or other critters in the holes. Most of the Ohio/WV spots are strictly friendly freshwater fish.

My noodles allways limp....... Cause the stiff ones tend to make you tip over and drown in the POOL.
