Yes you saw right, the SOUTH pier this time. I infiltrated yalls territory to see what was going on haha. I did my homework and looked at the birds eye view to see where the rock piles were and I wrote down where 3 of them were. Went to rock pile 1 and there are people already there, same at 2 and OHHH NOOO same at 3. So I grabbed an available area and set up(it had 155 painted where the piling was). Got like 2-3 dozen whitebait with one throw of the net. Macks were hitting everything. I brought home 5, caught em on gotchas, shrimp, cut threadfins and whitebait under a cork. The tide turned at like 2:30 so I thought I would give Mr. Grouper a shot. I saved a lizardfish, a grunt, a pinfish and a threadfin all alive and threw them out with no luck. Did catch a bluefish and a big bonnethead that broke my line on the way up the side.
I do have a question. Does each pier get its bait from a different vendor? The shrimp on the North side seem so much bigger.
