If all goes as planned I will be at the NSP by 2 or 3am Tuesday morning pretty close to the bait house if I can find a spot. Hopefully won't be to hard at that time. Will be driving a white F150 supercab and wearing a blue retired navy ball cap> I'll try to put my pier rat logo where it can be seen. If anyone comes out stop and say hello. Hope to pick up a grouper and plenty of macks. If I get a keeper grouper it will be a first. Only been trying for 10 years so got to get lucky sometime. I hope so anyway. I don't have one of those handy dandy cameras yet that you can put right on the computer but I will make a report. riverviewsteve

Well I made it and I enjoyed it but I didn't catch a whole lot. Three very large cats. If they had been groupers I could probably have kept a couple. Bait was plentiful. After daylight the greenbacks were all around that pier and thick. People throwing nets weren't having any trouble and caught quite a few on sabikis. I lost one brand new sabiki without even catching anything. Got to close to the piling. Something did hit it I'm pretty sure. The tide was going out then and whatever took it took it under the pier. I only seen 6 or 8 macks all morning unfortunately they belonged to other people. No groupers, no trout. I did see a couple of nice ladyfish that a guy was using for bait but he didn't get any hits. Anyway I will be out there again Friday morning if weather and wife all cooperate. It was a little windy when I got there but it calmed down pretty good at least it was still pretty nice when I left at noon. I had my pier rat emblem in my window but guess no rats in my vicinity. When I got there I was the 4th vehicle and by 9am there was very little room on the NSP. riverviewsteve
