Hey guys, I can't wait to get back to my roots in the albacore alley. I had every intention of going fishing today, monday 4/5, but i had such a great "Good Friday" fishing expedition that i had to for-go the fishing for lack of freezer space. I went out on my kayak on Friday and before noon i was tapping out. I have so say, this past winter may have been one for the record books, but spring has sprung and i think we are in for a great fishing season. I hope to see the crew sunday 4/11. Here are a few pics from my trip on friday. I caught a bunch of reds. First time in my life i had to throw something back for being to big, but that was a problem i am more than happy to have. My final talley for friday was 8 reds, none smaller than 27", the 27" got invited home for dinner. I am uploading a couple pics of the keeper red. Nothing like fishing light tackle and watching reds bury their nose and run. The sunday before that, me and the old man did some wade fishing and had a banner day with trout. I've been fishing, but the past two weeks also included some catching. See everyone soon. Hope you enjoy the pics, i think reds are one of the most beautiful game fish we have. tight lines, Jason Attachments:

GrouperScooper: That is either the Heritage Marquesa 12, or 14 or the Heritage Redfish 12..not sure if theay are making the redfish 14's yet damn nice boat. very stable but yet it tracks real nice..a bit on the heavier side for some kayaks with the same dimensions but it makes up for its weight in other areas...nice flat decking where your legs and feet sit..nice well in the back for livewell or cooler and a decent dry hatch up front.

I have a Heritage Marquesa, I actually bought it off of Craigs List. I love fishing out of it.
Eagles...lol...i love it blackend too. (you'll be happy to know there were no hippies knockin down the doors)
Thanks for the invite gsellers, i would have loved to have gone, but i was helping my dad after his mouth surgery. I should still be out on Sunday, he is doing just fine.
