Hello pier rats! Still been reading the forum, but never did return to fish the Skyway since May of 09. I have really gotten more involved in kayak fishing, and that is the only type of fishing I have been doing. After 5 years, finally sold my old kayak and bought a new one. Got an Ocean Kayak Prowler Big Game. Have also been entering most of the kayak fishing tournaments that come along. Since I am no longer pier fishing I am liquidating all tackle that I used to use in pier fishing. I have some rod holders (2 for mounting around the rail), a couple of stand up, a new s/s pier gaff (never used) with new marine grade rope, a reels on wheels jr aluminum pier cart, a like new 3ft round pier drop landing net. I have listed these items in classifieds. Hope you all have a great year fishing the Skyway Piers this year. - David

Whats up David!
Good to see youre still around...if I didnt have my shoulder problem Id be joining the growing number of guys here getting into kyaking...Ive been looking into other places to fish myself, the piers just aint what they used to be. Im planning on buying a center console boat later this year, Im gettin pretty tired of being confined to fishing from shore...
Good luck in your tournaments, and be careful out there....if you get any good catches, post some pics up here...as dead as this forum has become, I dont think anyone would mind...lol
Take it easy
Steve

Steve.............Hobie makes foot pedal drive kayaks (outback and revolution). You would only have to paddle in very shallow water.
