My weapon is an 8ft offshore custom rod with a 4ot okuma with the speed handle my back up is a 7ft daiwa with a 4ot daiwa with speed handle

I'm hoping the baitrunner pays off for smaller stuff like mackeral or bonito if I can get the spots right....

My preferred weapon for Grouper: 7ft ugly stick (MH), Baitrunner 4500, 50lb PP
Have yet to catch a keeper on it though

For the Pier...Shimano Thunnus 14000F with 8 foot custom rod. Got to be able to cast the crap out of it on the incoming tide.

Outgoing, 8' Big Water US, (Thank you David) Diawa Sealine HSD 50 with 100lb PP, 25 to 30 foot of 80 or 100lb Triple Fish Leader, 8/0 to 10/0 circle depending on bait size. Incoming, 8' Star Rod, Penn 4/0 with 85lb Triple Fish mono, no leader, 8/0 to 10/0 circle.
