the report...... was there about 30 mins and left. There was no bait at all, hardly any birds. Didnt see much of anything in the water. Guess the water is still a bit too cold. Only about 30 cars out there. The greenies were out there in force making some kind of video, dont know what that was about.
On a side note: be careful tossing out your cast net in the middle section's (last bathroom to the end) looks like the water lines or power cables have been cut. They are hanging in the water between each set of pilings and are covered in barnacles.
$12.00 for me and my old man, 30 mins on the pier.
We eventually made our way to simmons park, caught a few small trout, thats about all she wrote. There was a chili cook off there as well, so it was jam packed.

it was that bad huh? Im waiting till the end of march till I make another 2.5 hour drive...with the hopes of warmer weather
anybody know when to expect spanish mackeral again? keep me posted!

I good way to help you rememebr when the Mackeral and Kings return to the pier is St Patty's day. However, with the cold winter and cold water temps it may be later.

Haven't been around much, but hope there is something left of the piers. So looking forward to April Grouper.
