A couple weekends ago, me and the wife went to the power plant to see the manatees. It was a nice way to kill a Sunday afternoon.
There was a large number of big fish leaping out of the water. I'm not talking lazy mullet jumps here. It was small scale great white action, in fact I was thinking they where blacktip/spinner sharks.
Has anybody else been there and know what they are? And if they are busting bait or trying to escape dolphins?

There are also tons of Tarpon there also. My brother-inlaw was there last week and said the Tarpon were bustin' the schools of bait. I've been there in the past and have seen some amazing things.

Yep, I seen some tarpon rolling, but not chasing any bait, and a dozen or so rays.
It was pretty cool, and would recommend it to anybody who has never been there.
