Fished the rain day yesterday. There were more people than I though there would be. Got there about 10, left at 5 pm. Mackerel were being slaughtered, about 20 in size. Caught 1 for cut grouper bait. Had a decent size gag on and flipper snatched him from below when I had him 10 yds from the pier. Couldn't tell how big he was with half of him in flipper's mouth. Guy down from me caught 3 on pins against the tide when it changed, but I couldn't get a nibble with a pinfish. Wonder if your on this forum? Small pickup with pier cart. Saw a couple of Kings rocket out of the water. Lots of small fry bait around.

i was out on the 24th from 4pm - 11pm and didnt see a whole lot of actions really. we caught a nice big spanish on a shrimp and a big lady fish on cut mullet. other than that alot of small stuff, snappers, grunts etc. but i really didnt see anyone else catching too much, the guy next to me brought an undersized grouper over later in the night, dont know what he was using.
