Well you've all heard the statement "A deal you couldn't turn down", well I got one and me an Rich(grouperscooper) took a road trip to the great white north. I made an offer to my buddy before he took the boat all the way to Menomee, MI that he turned down. When he got there he found out that lake Michigan was a shallow lake something I would have never guess'd. We stood on the bank and you could literally see bottom until it vanished in the reflection of the sky on the water. Can't wait to hit the water. 26' Robalo, twin 115 Johnsons and all the gear.

I'm from Michigan myself and that is no shallow lake (Lake Michigan). I have done tons of Trout and Salmon fishing up there and you're in for a treat. The water has gotten VERY clear due to the amount of zebra mussels in the water. Makes everything look a bit more shallow.

Be real soon Stephen, I have some preventative maintenance I'm doing over the next couple of weeks, already emptied the tanks and had them cleaned shiney and new. Carbs are being rebuilt/refreshed, new seals on the lower end. The boat came with a Furuno GP-31 GPS, I bought a DGPS unit to tie into the auto pilot so this baby will take us to the locations hands free. I replaced the leaning post so it sits lower, you know how us brothers like to lean way over when we drive Lol Seriously tho they sat to high for my liking and I have the time so why not right? JJ and I have cleaned the hull of all oxidation and are polishing it. The teak was dry so we cleaned and re-oiled it. Took the fighting chair off so we have more room, figure if we're trolling we'd be holding the rods or they'd be in the holders till we got a hit.
Big Mike I'm proud to say that your name is up on top of the list of fishermen who will be on board and you'll have plenty of time to get your schedule sorted when we go. So I'm headed back out to finish what I can today, faster I get it done faster we go.
