Headed out of Venice to about 65 ft of water. We found lot's of red grouper and only one under sized gag that went back to fight another day. And now for the party crasher. All 33lbs. of her.

She was under the boat and my son was look at the shark. The guy we were out with was asking him what kind of shark is it and I was telling them it's not it's a cobia after about 5 min of telling them they were wrong. We put a big pin on a spinning rod with 30lb. braid and 30lb leader. He jumped right on it and the fight was on for 26 min. to the net. She weight in at 33lbs. She went around and around the boat. We had to raise the motor and it was lucky we were drifting or she would have made it to fight another day.

The mack's and kings are there off the beaches. We were watching them bust the bait pods as were catching our live bait. It was cool because they were coming out of the water.
