Copied from the Frorida Sportsman
A good friend of mine who has a house on Anna Maria was robbed a couple of weeks ago. A lot of stuff was taken and I mean a lot. I know a lot of us fish and live in the area and know people that do as well. So I think that we can help. The tackle that was stolen was mostly very pricey offshore tackle as well as some house decorations. It would mean a lot if you all could keep an eye out for this tackle hitting the market or if you’ve already seen anything from the list. Any tips will help in this horrible situation. I’ll list my email and if you know anything don’t hesitate to let me know. Let’s do a fellow angler a favor. Thanks guys
Here’s the list (I told you it was a lot): (2)Penn International 50 Reel Penn International II 30TW Reel (3)Penn International 20 Penn International II 16S Penn International Rod 20 Penn International Rod 16 Penn International Rod 30 (2)Shimano Calcutta 700S Shimano Calcutta 700 Shimano Calcutta Rod w/ roller guide tip (3)Penn 7500 Reel (2)Penn 6500 Reel Penn 5500 Reel (2)Penn International IGFRod 20A Spinning (2)Fin- Nor QL 3000 Reels with Fin-Nor Rod Penn 340GTI Reel ***Once again any tips will help. Any if anyone can post pics of what some of the tackle looks like I’d appreciate it. my email is hcualex@yahoo.com

That just plain sux. My house was broken into several years ago. Took all my guns, fender amp n' guitar, 4800 watt generator among other stuff. It's a bad feeing being robbed. Ya feel violated in a sense. Luckily my insurance covered most of it. BEWARE !!!!! Check your homeowners policy. Most policies only cover $500 in jewelry. That's where is got screwed badly. Loose money is not covered either. Had probably couple hundred dollars in loose change in a jar where I throw all my change. OH well Life goes on and they left my fishin gear alone.

That really sucks! That is propably spread all over the place before. I had most of my decent to good saltwater fishing equipment stolen acouple years before i moved away from florida. I really hated it.
