www.myfwc.com/CONSERVATION_Conserv_Progs_Habitat_Saltwater_reef_locator.aspSteven try this link. I've tried 3 times to get it through but ig goes to a dead page in preview. If the link won't work, try typing it in yourself. If that don't work, go to FWC's Home page and clicl on reef locator, or do a search for reef locator. On the reef locator page you'll find a plethora of artificial reef numbers. While some of these reefs are pretty picked over, most are way way better than many people realize, and are pretty easy to find. Also on this page theres a link, that gives an in depth explanation on how the GPS System works. Or ya could just ask Uncle Tommy! Hope that helps. J

Steve, this is a list of offshore spring heads, these places are rich with Grouper, AJ's, Tuna and many others. We fished over one last trip, thats where Codi got the Boneheads worked up. The best and only advice I can give is once you get to the #'s you'll need to learn to mark the spot(way point) then go to idle and watch your drift(current). That way when you anchor up your right over the #, 50' in any direction will keep you from catching whats sitting over hard bottom/structure.
Gulf of Mexico Blue Holes
Site, Latitude/Longitude, Depth
Jewfish Hole, 28-25.76, 82-42.53 Top Cap, 27-11.733, 83-34.00, 162 feet Deep Undercover, 27-08.225, 83-26.391, 160 feet AJ Hole, *14089.3, 44695.1, 114 feet Green Banana, *14021.6, 44769.4, 154 feet Pride Sink, *14084.2, 44958.3, 124 feet Awesome Sink, *14034.3, 44958.3, 140 feet Donut Hole, *14076.9, 44741.6 Captiva Blue Hole, 26-28.900, 82-44.190, 90 feet Mud Hole, 26-14.768, 82-00.637, 55 feet Naples Blue Hole, 25-50.570, 82-09.114, 64 feet Chicken Pot Pie, 25-40.744, 83-01.657, 168 feet
* The numbers beginning with 140 are TDs, or Loran coordinates, and can be converted to latitude/longitude pretty accurately now with software

Beer/Gas is a must for "EaglesFanGirl" like Tommy said just find the spot, check the current and drop anchor up current and drift into the HUNNIE HOLE! I'd love to lend a hand Saturday Stephen but after my cousin scrapped plans I decided to help my mom out at her shop all day. But got plans on Monday?

well anyways...
I was just sayin, it's a pretty informative link... the numbers are pretty picked over on the public arti reefs, and if ya got enough money, numbers ain't a problem.
yer question was does anybody know anything about Lowrance/GPS...
(And I burned my steak tryin to hook ya up)
(Careful dog thems Wading birds, not ducks)
