Been a couple years since I've been out to the piers but planning on going tomorrow afternoon into the night. How has the snapper bite been out there. We're headed out to the south pier

Not sure about the pier but they are biting well at the Gandy bridge.

They should be there. Hopefully you can move around to find them. Expect a ton of zebco pros taking up space. My advice would be to park, take your 1 rod and a small bucket with bait, lock your car and start walking. If you have to walk back for a bait after catching 1, you won't get that spot back. Or fish just past sunset, go to St Pete for something to eat and come back to take a nap for a few hours before trying again after the 'partiers' are gone.
