Another short trip between 830 and 930am. Got a small sea robin, a short lane snapper and 8 pins. Had a bonnet head shark on briefly but it bit off my hook. Tide was high. Lots of people fishing in that area.
Hope to get enough time to take a longer trip to the Skyway or Desoto where there's more and larger fish.
A question for anglers, especially those who have talked about sardines and other small eating fish...has anyone tried sea robin?

I have not eaten them but they are eaten in other parts of the country and the world. I've never caught one big enough to bother with.

gut boil peel
spinkle on some old bay, lemon n butter. make a sandwhich on favorite bread. thank me later
