Started fishing at about eight in the morning, caught bait and jacks on cut bait. Caught a couple small snapper and grouper. At around 11 o’clock, we were catching Mackerel like crazy about halfway up the pier at the first restroom. I caught them on Crappie jigs, twitch baits, gotcha plugs, and spoons. Smallest was 14 inches, but they didn’t break 18. Ended with over 13p hour. Kept 6.

Hope Macks stay around. We are going to try on Friday. It was very encouraging to see how hungry they were today. My speculations that by Friday at the consistent rains again I think it should be we’re normally would be at the start of a problem with April. With proper runs happening
