Going through my old videos I shot when I lived in Oldsmar. Used to get a lot of video on the SSP using my cheapy GoPro. Never know what you might see under there. Here is some I've cleaned up. The first few minutes with the mullet are at Fred Howard Park. The second segment is about halfway between the last bathrooms and the end of the pier on the bay side. The final segment is off the end of the pier towards the bay. Enjoy. youtu.be/COEU4-Y1t2Q

Here is a link to another video I created. The first bit is on the SSP. The second part is at Fred Howard Park. Tons of snapper under that first bridge. youtu.be/nnVA8bjuj-sI will be back in Florida in August and should get plenty of videos while I'm there. I was posted overseas 2 years ago and really miss the area and fishing the SSP. If you have a location you're interested in, leave me a post and I will try to get some video when I come through.

So I went out today to the SSP and Fred Howard Park and dropped this fish cam in. I was only able to do one drop right across from the last bathroom block on SSP before a storm moved in. But....I did see fish. A lot of snapper sheepshead and spots under the SSP with plenty of baitfish in the upper water. At Fred Howard Park I saw snapper, snook, sheepshead and pompano. Plenty of fish life there as well. So in those two spots, the fish are still running around ever after red tide.
I plan on going back out again tomorrow and see what I can find. Hopefully, I get some decent light in the morning before Fred shows up.

Got some really good video on my trip to the bay area. Most of it from the SSP and up in Tarpon Springs. I also created another video on how I put together my fish camera. If your interested in making your own underwater videos where you fish then check out this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGBqc10R8Is. Depending on the housing of the camera your using this should be good to 100 feet. That should cover a lot of what most of us fish.
