Got there around 12am,tide was coming in and wind was heavy. Caught at least 40-50 speckled trout and sand trout all together, with a couple specks around 18 inches! Caught a bunch of ladyfish, one I had to walk down the rocks for due to it being around 23 inches and was afraid it was gonna snap off the line if I lifted it up. Ended up catching my first Menhaden. Tried for snook but only had one on in daybreak but popped off sadly, est. 30-33 inches. Once morning fully showed up, the bite died off completely. Water clarity was crystal clear when morning came, and saw schools of snook and a few reds. Left at 10:00am.

Quite an overnight there! Anyone else fishing? It looked pretty dead during the day. Did you fish one of the piers.

Nice fish fry. Those snook around the piers are very picky ur best bet is a 1/8oz white crappie jig. If you want to mess with the big mommas throw a live ladyfish out past the light line and get ready a 40+ will slam that in no time. Nice catch buddy.

There was a few people there when I showed up but when the wind picked up, they all left. And you're right, nothing bit when day came which was very weird. Not even pinfish were there!

I have to agree with SkyJay. Keep in mind, many times when You have a Full moon the Fish have been biting & eating all night. Then when it becomes daylight the Fish stop eating because they ate all night & they are full of food.

Better not be a nice fish fry, can't keep any snook or specs. I have not seen a sugar/sand trout or silver in yrs since the red tide and blue algee kill off.

I have found, that since the total ban on keeping fish, they taste much better 😂 but it might just be me
