Hit the pier this morning till about 4. Wasn't too crowded. Like a slow weekend. Took wife and my uncle. My wife kicked ass. Graduated from pinfish to gags (maybe black, can't tell). Both short, about 15". Also caught a lot of short mangos and lanes. Had a great time. Me, not much. Too busy cutting and hooking bait for both of them. Did throw my mac rig about 50 times. Nothing.

I got there around 4:30 or so, pier was bombed for a Tues. Along with that the fishing sucked b.lls....no macks around, saw 2 nice sea bass come over and 1 maybe 12" Mack on a sabiki, no mangos....I trolled the entire pier twice just watching....left at 7:10pm, sucking Coronas now and will be there at daylight tomorrow

Could have used a ice cold corona. But yes, not the best fishing day. Didn't see any keepers caught, around me at least. The closest we came was 9.5" mango. My uncle did get a few good size pigfish. Kept them, I like them grilled whole.

Didn't make it out this morning but my buds from Sarasota are there now, said the pier is packed for a week day. No macks around so they're fishing for snappers instead, all small but getting a few 12" sea bass as well. I saw a couple 14 inchers caught yesterday
