Your catch would make a nice poster ad for Hubbards! Did others have good catches too?

a quick question,on the night time snapper trips,do you have preference on where you like to fish? sides or back? I prefer not to say my exact spot, don't want people cramping my spot. I will say to look for less crowded spots on the boat. I don't think one spot is better than another, but you want to get as far away from other people as you can to avoid lines being tangled all day which reduces productive fishing time.

witch trip was this? Nice Hogs! 10 hour Sunday trip Also, if you do the 10 hour day trip, manage your expectations. Your not getting out really deep, usually only 60-70 feet of water. So don't expect to do this trip and catch monsters all day, it ain't going to happen. If you want larger fish, you gotta go deeper. Me, I like catching hogs, porgies, grunts etc. They are great eating fish. There was a guy on there yesterday that thought he was going to come on this trip and slay giant grouper all day and was disappointed with the size of the fish being caught. Instead of making the most of it, he sat and bitched all day and caught almost nothing. His loss....

Which is kinda funny, 'cause their website makes it pretty clear the 10 hour is not a "grouper slaying trip", it mainly "panfish" with a chance at grouper. He should have read the website.
