Good afternoon all. I was looking at the tides and lunar charts for Saturday 12/14 and it looks like a great fishing day. Looking at the weather it will have pretty strong winds and just after a rainy front. What do you all think about the skyway fishing right after that rainy front?

tide does not look good but best bet is probably around 8am... but that's just my guess.. as for the weather.. don't see any issue with the rainy front or a rainy front.. if there is one it is very weak.

Wind will be SW, don't like that this time of year. Wind will be NW on Sunday ahead of a front, much better

Parkpass good point. If strong SW winds keep fish back in the bay the outgoing tide with NW winds could be good for pushing them out.

Not exactly what I meant navy, sw winds are warm, this time of year nw winds are usually ahead of a front that brings cool weather. I like fishing those fronts this late in the year, the gags are more active

Good Afternoon Folks, skyway newbie here,Just to let everyone know the macks are still around,I ran into a school of large macs mixed with ladyfish Friday just off Snead Island,Managed to land several in the 20" range and lost several more, mostly on gold spoons and live bait and out of a kayak!
