Had not fished for almost a month, the weather was nice and my wife wanted time and space to cook for Thanksgiving. So I went out for a while. Tried Sand Key pier area for maybe 20 minutes but piers were occupied. Tried the spoon and jig from the seawall as I had seen a mack landed. But nothing else hit. The water was very clear. Went to Bellaire causeway between 1230 and 230pm. Some action...a large ladyfish, a blue runner, 4 lizard fish and a dozen pinfish. Just after I cleaned the few fish, a man came in with large pompano, a black drum and a large bluefish. He had fished the beach and waded..used shrimp. The weather was very pleasant, warm but not hot and light winds. And Happy Thanksgiving to all!
