Hey all,
I've been using the greenbacks I catch on the sabiki rig for bait, and I was wondering how y'all hook them? I've tried through the lips, and through the back, but was wondering how others do it.

Depends on if they are alive or dead.... alive through the back down towards the tail, but dead hook them through the mouth and out the top of the head

Depend... depend... depend...
Mack fishing... If it's against the tide, I would tail hook top or anal hook it. If it's with the tide, nose, shoulder, or throat hook..
For snapper.. fish finder rig - alive - nose hook or tail hook. - dead - hook them anywhere that is head for the pinfish to pull off easy. Usually through the middle of the fish.
jighead - alive - nose hook or throat hook. - dead - hook them near the backbone.

Be sure to check out the SSP 10/10 thread for some other ideas, as well.

Oh forgot to add... remember to use a loop knot when using live bait.
