Took the yak out to Jenkins creek. Nothing but catfish. Did hook up something big but I did a crappy job tying the hook and lost it. I remember thinking what are the chances I catch something big loos it because of stupidity. In the bright note. The views were great and I tried my new trolling motor mount. It worked amazing. No more peddling tour de France. imghost

Jenkins Creek. First post I have seen from that location. Where is it? Bayport. Where weeki wachi empties into the gulf. Beautiful habitat but not much in fish biodiversity. My second time there and probably the last.

tying any connection wrong should never be admitted to.. never Maybe. But I share my successes and idiotic failures equality. I always said. You can learn more from mistakes the successes.

With the trolling motor working so well, it is a 30 pound thrust, I’m already looking at 55 pound. I need to jump waves. Trolling for kings. So many ideas.

It looks like fish paradise. But it’s not. I did see mullet and flipper and his gang were hunting something. Probably mullet. I’m sure I hook a redfish as it pulled drag. But all in all. Very disappointing. Again.

How much did the kayak cost to get registered? Did the state issue a title, or just numbers ?
