Kill shot from our 27 hour Middlegrounds Trip 3 stop shop. limit o'Gags, ARS, and 30 Mangos fishing time got cut way short by the unforcasted 20kt winds that kicked up at 1:00 am., at which point we attempted to head for the hill. After 20 miles of getting slammed we decide to anchor and camp it out till daylight and get some sleep. Turned out to be a good plan and the rest of the way wasnt too bad. epic bite on this trip. best fishing I've seen in a long time.

Tears, thought you ate your fish raw You mean something like this? imgur.com/a/9989obHAte a little too much on those. BTW one of the picture of the raw fish is a big blue runner. Let see if you can spot which one it is. A white guy, friends of my brother thought he was eating tuna. I told him it was blue runner a bait fish and he thought I was BS-ing him. The look on his face was priceless!

Tears: I can't tell, but someone in your house definitely knows how to cook and what to use It is just sashimi... so no cooking involve. Just cut the piece of meat just like the tuna and the guy can't tell the different. Thought he was eating tuna. LOL As for the other dish that is more involve, then yes. He can make those good dish. He used to work for a sushi restaurant.

This next post is entitled: How N O T to vent a fish! Upon closer inspection of our pot winning Gag while cleaning fish today we noticed old Buford here had aparently been previously landed by some Googan who obviously had no idea how to properly vent a fish. (see pic) all it takes is a small poke underneath the pec fin gang. Not a fricken 2 inch gash in the side jeeees. Poor fish. Oh well he's steaks now. lol more pics for attention-🤗 biggest was 36 inches

In either case the fish will die and with the fish dying that is many future fish lost. Glad Buford lasted as long as he did before you caught him.
I have seen a couple of seminars at Hubbard's before they leave the dock for the 39 hour trips and they preach to everyone to have a venting tool and to use it. They also advise to ask the crew members if the person needs help but they want the fishermen/women to know how to vent the fish correctly and get it back in the water ASAP if it is undersized or the limit has been reached. They also use the pointed end of their stringers as venting tools which is way less expensive than buying a venting tool and if used properly will work just as well.

It is my brother who is good with it. spicy mayo - common one with sushi ponzo sauce - used in seared tuna Some sort of spicy sauce - for tuna tartar
