Hey Everyone: I plan on fishing SSP tomm., Wednesday for Macks. What do you recommend as the best time in the day to get there? Low tide is at 9 am and high tide is 2:30 pm. With low tide, I'm thinking the fishing won't be all that good, with better chance with incoming tide at 9 am thru 2:30. You all forgot more about fishing than what I know so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Youll want to fish incoming tide. So probably like 11 in the morning until that tide becomes slack. If macs arent hitting by an hour, try for some mangos and sheeps using shrimp.

I always have Good Luck just before Dawn where there is an Out-Going Tide just before Sunrise. Macks bite Better when there is a "Moving Tide" right at Dawn. There will be an Out-Going Tide until about 9:05am in the Morning according to tides4fishing.com/us/florida-gulf-coast/redfish-point-manatee-river. If You are throwing a Spoon & there is Sunlight, the Macks will hit it. Else You will have to wait until the Tide Changes & the Water is Moving again.

If you have time fish the crest and also get the early outgoing tide too. I had been catching mainly the out going and results have not been all that good. Good luck!
