I was at NSP on sunday. No such luck. I droped down some cut mullet and balloned some pin fis around the abandoned bridge pilings, tide was coming in the whole time I was there. No luck im afraid. Did see a guy get a nice bonita but that was it.

Went to the SSP Sunday afternoon. I was looking for Whiting or Sand/Silver Trout. Alot of people there, I didn't see alot caught. I caught a bakers dozen Mangroves all between 7" to 9". The most interesting thing was the monster Triple Tail just lazing around I saw. Threw freelined shrimp at it, no dice. It could have cared less 😂. I also noticed that people have broken out some of the plastic grates they placed in the drain holes. I guess people think having a "rod holder" is more important than keeping trash (and almost my car keys once) out of the bay.

The reason for not many reports is that the fish are not biting. I went out today for an hour and a half to the Bellaire Causeway. Was hoping for a sheepshead, a shark or even a catfish (my fiancé was upset I have let them go). Nothing doing, just a few bait sized pin fish.
Other fishermen who joined me on the pier said that not much being taken at the piers at Sand Key either. They had no luck either at Bellaire. I think all of the fronts and the up and down temps have screwed up the bite. Will give it a go next week, I hope.
