does anyone understand what a floater is? this week really is no different than last week, with the water cooling fast it should go away? The Red Tide conditions are getting better with each Cold Front that We get. With the extra Rain that We have been getting here does slow the dissipation down. We are more than 2" above the Rainfall that We usually get in December. At least We are not having any more Dead Fish Floating in the Water like we had several weeks ago. Red Tide Floater: A “red tide” is actually a bunch of microscopic creatures floating in the water. From what I have read & heard, the Red Tide normally clings to the Rocks & Structures & the Sea Bottom & Plant Life and grows. The Fish feeds off all of those. And that is what Kills the Fish.
