Tears taught me sheepshead today. Got my first keeper and now I'm addicted. I heard there was an early back bite. We chummed all afternoon and nothing. All signs point to them being gone. I got like 3 with 0 keepers and his first one is a keeper.. 0.0| I got two nice hit that I fail. First one could be a dolphin and second one.. who knows. A bunch of small snapper are still around.

Beginners luck. I think I went 1 for 20 sheepshead today. I think that's a successful day from what I saw at the pier today. Not counting those guys eating blue runner sushi. No idea what that was.

I saw several caught today. Bonito as well. Large schools all over the bay. Could see everything since it was a mirror, no wind or seas. The mack aren't completely gone, yet. I caught one on a damn sabiki. Seen a lot more trout now. Webby,
I believe the larger macks have left but smaller ones will occasionally be caught as long as the water is in the mid 60s range. I have caught macks in 64F water on the sabiki rig. The sabiki will be a real catch all during this time of year.
