I have not seen any reports for the past day. I know the winds have been up. Did anyone go out today? Shadowxmas and I are considering trying on Tuesday afternoon if the winds abate. Not what pier yet. Let us know if you are going. Would be good to meet others. BTW, I had broken my rod tip during my last outing. I went to Dogfish tackle (on Park Blvd.) this morning and asked them for a kit to fix the tip. The young fellow took my rod and fixed it within literally 3 minutes! The cost was only $3. I like going there in general and today I give them two thumbs up. I advise anglers to patronize them.

Would like to, have to see...
Haven't been to Dogfish, but sounds like a good place to patronize!
It will be good to meet some other fisherfolk. I'll let you know if I think I can get away tomorrow afternoon.
Tight lines!

Sunday the mack fishing was a little better with bigger macks and more macks.
As for today, I got report of bonita and mack crashing the party.

Would like to fish but work would let me I know the feeling. Not long ago I was stuck working a stretch of 14 consecutive days. My friend shadowxmas works 5 days a week, so it is not easy for her and I to fish together plus we have to deal with tricky weather etc. on those limited available days.

I only fish the south pier, so I don't know about the north pier.

Unlike most gals, shadowxmas does EVERYTHING....baits the hook, casts, catches fish and cleans them....and cooks them really well too. And she knows much about salt water fishing as she had worked at Hubbards Marina's baitshop. She knows her fish, often I ask her questions and she has most of the answers. I'd much rather have her go with me than go fishing by myself.
