Fished from 3:30am - 9:30. It was Windy & not as Hot as usual like the past couple of weeks in the Early Morning Time. There was Plenty of Bait. Water was very Clean. Like I Previously predicted & stated, the Cooler Temperatures brought back the Bigger Mackerel. I Caught 2-17", 1-16 1/2", 1-15", 2-14", 1-13, 1-12 3/4" Mackerel. I would have caught 2 Mackerel over 20" but Mrs. Dolphin Leaped out of the water & almost to the bottom of the Pier Rail for the 1st Large Mackerel. As I was bringing up the 2nd Large Mackerel Mrs. Dolphin Leaped again about 3-4' out of the water, Grabbed it & Swam like Hell breaking My Line. Then disappearing into the Bay. I had several other anglers that saw the Whole Thing Both Times. Of Course Two of the Anglers thought it was funny. But they created their own Bad Karma. Two minutes later, it happened to them. Then they left upset with Red Faces. And they were not Laughing. They were crying the Blues. One Angler turned and said, "How come You get all of the Big Fish". I just Smiled & Looked away and said, "I'm Just Lucky That Way". All & All, I had a Great Morning. Just check out the Pics. I can't wait for Tomorrow to do it all over again. Now if I can just get My Girlfriend to Clean & Cook the Fish & Feed Me. Any Ideas ?

Well I came onto the pier after mackman left. Came home with 5 pompano and caught a handful for different size macks. Another handful of bluerunner and jacks for offshore bait. Pictures of the pompano later.

Great catches and pics by Mackeralman. Tears143 and others.
Crazy dolphins jumping around. Are these dolphins turning into beggar dolphins? I hope not. They are finding easy catches and are picking up on the struggling fish like a shark would.
Looking forward to Tuesday morning. I am off of work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Tight lines and full buckets and coolers.

That Depends on What Fish You are Fishing For and If You Like the Heat or when it is Cooler. If You ask Me, it would be Morning for Mackerel on a Outgoing Tide and Morning for Grouper on an Incoming tide. Afternoon to Early Evening on the Outgoing Tide for Mangrove Snapper & Mackerel. Night for Shark-(Any Tide). Grouper & Mangrove Snapper, Silver Trout and Whiting on the Incoming Tide. Other Anglers may very to what I am saying. Catch My Drift ? It really depends on the Person such as You & the type of Fish that You want to Fish for. Also Check the Solunar Charts for the Best Fishing Time. Just Try it & Good Luck !
