Well Today, 6:00am - 9:30 am was not as Good as Yesterday for Me but Many Fish were still Caught. I got cut off 3 times. One Angler next to Me caught 3 - 16" Macks to start off the day and a few other keepers. I caught approximately 10 or 12 - 12" or less Macks in which I threw back. But I did manage to catch a Nice 14" Mack. Other Anglers still caught a fair share of Various Sizes of Macks. Blue Runners made a Nice Showing. The water Clarity was Real Clear. There was Bait from one end of the Pier to the End going out about 200'. There also was over 1,000 Manta Rays swimming by to ruin the day running off the Mack Attack. Mrs. Dolphin & Her Family failed to show. To bring Good News to the Pier and all of You Anglers out there, one Female who has never caught a Grouper brought a 28" Gag Grouper over the Rail, Free-lining a Pinfish at about 1:00am this Morning. The Groupers are there but I think a couple of Cold Fronts will begin the that Great Grouper Bite. Tight Lines & Fill You Buckets & Good Luck.

I got there just after 7 am and did see mackerelman catch several small mackerel and some nice sized bluerunners. The guys to his left caught several as well and larger. I had no luck with the mackerel as my technique needs to improve.
I did catch couple large blue runners, being 11 inches. Also got a good sized spot tail pinfish. Tide was slow moving each way and water was clear. There were literally millions of bait fish. 4 of us got our lines snapped by the large rays. We were calling out ray alerts to warn others. I left there at 10 am as the sun was getting hot.
