Well as we all know gags open up July 1st! I need some advice from the grouper gurus here on a good rod/reel setup for fishing Gag Grouper at the Skyway. I would be mainly free lining pins with it. On occasion I may throw a small weight on it too. I need something that will get the job done without breaking emptying my wallet too much lol. Also let me know your thoughts on spinning vs conventional outfits for fishing gags at the Skyway.
Let me know guys thanks!

I got a Daiwa 350 h / 7 ' Daiwa Beefstick combo looking for a new home that is a perfect conventional setup for the Skyway for $150 bux or if you prefer spinning I have a Penn Spinfisher 750 Sm with your choice of 7' Med/Heavy Penn Powerstick or a 7' Med/Heavy Daiwa Beefstick that would work just fine also. Pm me if intetested.

Im probably going to buy new but I may decide otherwise and if so I will let you know tears. Why you selling it if I may ask?
Also whats every ones opinions on Daiwa 350h vs tld 15/20 vs penn senator 4/0? Which one is all around better do you guys think? I would use it at skyway for grouper and trips offshore to wrecks and the middlegrounds for bigger grouper/snapper/aj's.

Selling cuz I got way too much stuff I hardly ever use anymore, and I could use the cash, cuz Im out of work injured right now. That plus Your ad caught my eye and I figured Id help the "New" guy out. lol I can tell you the Daiwa combo is virtually new though. Barely ever used. Maybe one or two boat trips. The penn is banged up a little but functionally shes a 10. You mentioned in your ad you were trying not to bust your wallet... comparing brands has always been a topic of great debate. Ive switched to a Shimano Tourium with plans to switch to a Talica as soon as I can afford it. dont know much about the tlds. personally Ive used Daiwa sealines for over 30 years with 0 complaints. i like em cuz they cast better. not to say theres anything wrong with the penn either. you should get this 350 man. shes tight, and a good deal. good luck
