I'll never forget the day. As I heard the news blaring fron the radio I stood there in shock, staring out the window. 35 years ago today. Alot has happened since that day. And alot has changed. Over the years, I think we've all kind off lost sight of the magnitude of this disaster, and we take the fact the piers were created while family and friends of those who did not survive, suffered in silence for granted. Everyone take a minute and think of how lucky we all really are, and a moment of silence for the victims of that tragic day and their loved ones.

Just visited the tribute page the other day. What an absolute nightmare. I think about it every time I drive over the bridge and when I'm actually fishing on the pier. May they all be resting in peace.
