ok guys im going to the ssp 4/3/15 for some night fishin I heard online the mangrove snapper love full moon what about macks and other fish and how much weight will I need to get the bait into the structure for the snapper and if the macks bite during full moon what size lure and what lure I know I have been posting a lot of threads thank you guys so much for your help I promise ill post a report when I get back

stick with bait imo for snapper. If fishing at night... go with bait I heard would be a better choice. Unless going after white/sand trout, ladyfish, and snook.
Night time, not much visibility, therefore the fish are going by smells. Work bait slowly at night.

Thanks tears143 what weight or rig would you recommend for the fishing depends on tide and where you are fishing and how you are fishing... and it depends on your fishing style... Did I mention that it depends? 0.o I usually use 1/2 - 1oz to bounce a long the bottom when the tide is strong. If I want the bait sationary, then I would go with whatever holds bottom...

You can start out light, and move up as the current strengthens. full moon spring tides are tough.
