Newbie here, so please pardon the lack of any real info here. Just thought I would post as it seems that we are starting to see some action here on the board lately, and wanted to contribute. I have lurked here for a while, gathering info. Many thanks to all you guys for posting such helpful tips. Went out last night with girlfriend just to hang out and catch the sunset. Got there right at 1800. Plenty of greenies around for bait. Not a lot of action, but the guys next to us caught 3-4 nice mangroves. I did hook up with a small 40-50 lb. tarpon. Good fun until he decided he need to go elsewhere ;-) First tarpon bite EVER for me. I was beaming. Had a few good bites free lining livies as well, but couldn't get a hookup. Overall, nothing in the bucket, but a great night nonetheless. We didn't stay long and were home by 0100, so not a lot of time spent out, but there did seem to be some action going on. Saw several fish busting through bait, and had some good bites. Plenty enough to bring me back later this week! Thanks again to everyone for sharing info on this sight. Has helped a landlocked transplant like myself immensely.
