Sorry for the late report but things and school has been busy.. Me and my friends went to the south side and had pretty good success.. We saw no fish caught by anyone else along the pier near the end. We jumped 3 tarpon (which we weren't exactly targeting) and we landed 7 Bonita (false albacore) the bait was plentiful on incoming tide and we chummed the Bonita in.. I saw a king miss my trolly bait and we saw at least one other king crash on bait as well.. Fishing is going to pick up! Driving back on the shallow portion of the pier we saw massive schools of jacks busting on small bait pushed out about 50 yds from the pier. Mack's are in due to cooler water temps and clear water! Fall is looking good my friends.

Nice day Kingfish! Were you free lining livies for the Bonita? What do you do with them? We never used them for table fare. How do you use them? Can you smoke them? Great job man.
