Snook are biting. Big ones off the beach and passes. 30 minutes before sun up will get you a slot size keep. Have your snook stamp. FWC is checking

Didn't see your post earlier...
"When the Gulf recreational harvest reopens Sept. 1, all bag limits, size limits, gear restrictions and closed seasons will be in effect. This includes the one-fish-per-person, per-day bag limit, the 28- to 33-inch total length slot limit and the two annual closures in Gulf waters, which are from Dec. 1 through the end of February and May 1 through Aug. 31."
Open Sept to Nov. 30th

Tears, how do you use the big sabiki for macs; do you jig like you do for bait, or cast it out and retrieve?

I cast it out a bit... about 10-15 ft and jig it back in.

Good, then I will cut my sabikis in two , leaving three hooks on each rig, because I will not like to have six macs on at one time. I'm sure they will take the whole rig away.
