Decided to make a trip to the skyway before returning to Maine. Going to throw a line off the NSP about 7PM and watch the sunset, and maybe catch a few fish as the tide comes in after dark. I think I will try toward the shallow water toward the toll booth. Any one tried that area recently?

Have not been there since the end of july,I`m back in Chicago now but will be back down there in 2 weeks. When I was there in july I caught a 24" gag about half way up the NSP on the bay side. Can`t wait to get back out there on 9-20.Good luck.
Cheers

I fished that area a couple of weeks ago. Alot of big pin fish and twice I hooked into some yellowish white hard calcium like substance. Pulled em both in with a count of 18 hooks and 7 different lines

My trip Saturday night was enjoyable because of the weather and the sunset. The fish were not cooperating though. I saw some people around me catch some catfish and I did see one nice mango, but other than that, nobody was catching much.
